Welcome to The UK Optoelectronic Chemical Sensing Network (OptoCem.Net).  The purpose of OptoCem.Net is to stimulate collaborative research, development, commercial exploitation and best use of optoelectronic gas and chemical sensing.

OptoCem.Net is a continuation of a former DTI/TSB Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) which began in April 2005 and was funded for three years and managed by a Consortium comprising the SOA (Scottish Optoelectronics Association), SWIG (Sensors for Water Interest Group), GASG (Gas Analysis and Sensing Group) and Scottish Water.

The Consortium Partners are are now considering the future development of OptoCem.Net without TSB funding.

UK and overseas organisations and individuals with interests in optoelectronic gas or chemical sensing are invited to participate.
